Hamed Hassouna is the Chief Regional Director of Union De Banques Arabes Et Françaises U.B.A.F, the Middle East & Africa.
Started his banking career with Chase National Bank [currently CIB] - Egypt, Arab African International Bank - London Branch & National Bank of Egypt - London Branch, during the period 1985-1988 [student contract].
During the period 1989-1997, worked for Misr International Bank "MIBANK" Treasury Dept., Financial Institutions & International Syndications till 1997.
In September 1997 joined Credit Lyonnais Group [CALYON], as Head of Banks & Structured Finance.
In January 2003, appointed as the General Representative & Country Manager of Union De Banques Arabes Et Françaises U.B.A.F in Egypt and in 2007 became the Chief Regional Director responsible of UBAF activities in the Egypt, GCC countries, Yemen, Sudan & West Africa - to date;
Founding board member of CorpLease [major leasing firm in Egypt], Chairperson of the Board Audit Committee and Co-Chairperson of the Board Credit Committee.
Born in 1967, Hamed Hassouna has Masters Degree in Banking & Finance from Maastricht School of Management - The Netherlands and is holder of credit, treasury & finance professional courses from major international financial institutions [ex. Chase Credit Course].
